CHRISTMAS TREE FESTIVAL
Celebrating 25 years, the Christmas Tree Festival is a delightful display of trees beautifully decorated by local community groups and schools. This year’s theme is ‘Christmas Magic… What I love about Christmas’.
Loxton CWA Hall, Kokoda Tce. Open daily 11am – 4pm from 27th November to 12th December. Just a gold coin entry.

CHRISTMAS CRAFT FAIR
Find real Christmas treasure at the Craft Fair, with a variety of local, handcrafted and baked goods on offer. Unique Christmas gifts are a specialty at the Fair.

FESTIVAL FERRIS WHEEL
To celebrate the first week of the Christmas Lights Festival you can ride the Ferris Wheel in East Terrace. Take in the unique and spectacular views of the Murray River and surrounds by day, or enjoy the magic of Loxton’s Christmas Lights by night. Weather permitting.

Get the family together for Loxton’s very own Carols by Candlelight! The combined churches of Loxton invite you to gather and sing along to your favourite carols at the Loxton Oval, Bookpurnong Terrace. BYO chairs, rugs, candles, lanterns or torches.
Sunday 12th December 2021 from 7pm (prelude music) Carols begin at 7.30pm. Event will be cancelled if inclement weather.
Children can visit Santa in his magical workshop and receive a free gift!

SHINE – LITTLE TOWN CHRISTMAS 2021
Shine is a fully illustrated and animated Christmas Lights spectacular, projected onto the facade of the majestic St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Loxton.
Featuring local aritsts, and professional illustrators and animators from nationally acclaimed ILLUMINART, the 8 minute production of SHINE showcases what our local region has to offer. From the river to fields of wheat, vineyards and local tourist attractions along with celebrating Loxton as the Christmas Town, SHINE also intertwines the Nativity story into an awe inspiring production all the family will love.
Free to the community, SHINE will be a spectacular finale to our 30th Anniversary.
From 8pm every night Shine will be on rotation and includes food and market stalls, artistic displays and music.

BIKE THE NIGHT
A great way to see the lights is by cycling the sights. Bring the family to Heritage Park to decorate your bikes or scooters (and yourself) with free glow sticks before riding off to explore the streets in and around Santa’s Walk. Then return to enjoy refreshments from Little Miss Daisy Pop Up Caravan including smoothies, milkshakes, ice-cream, coffee, cakes and donuts. Weather permitting.

A colourful, historic display of all things Christmas from goose feather and novel trees to unique decorations and toys. Re-live traditions and special Christmas customs over many decades through this treasured private collection.
