CHRISTMAS TREE FESTIVAL
For over 27 years, the Christmas Tree Festival has been delighting us with displays of trees beautifully decorated by local community groups, schools, families and individuals. Every year has a new theme and 2025 theme will be announced soon.

FESTIVE FERRIS WHEEL
To celebrate the first week of the Christmas Lights Festival you can ride the Ferris Wheel in East Terrace. Take in the unique and spectacular views of the Murray River and surrounds by day, or enjoy the magic of Loxton’s Christmas Lights by night. Weather permitting.

COMMUNITY CAROLS
Gather the whole family together for Loxton’s very own Carols by Candlelight! The combined churches of Loxton invites the community to come together and sing along to your favourite carols at the Loxton Oval. BYO chairs and rugs, or even a picnic dinner!

Get ready for a truly enchanting experience this Christmas! Santa is coming to Loxton and he’s bringing the magic.

Loxton‘s vibrant village-style retail precinct offers a unique shopping experience with many businesses still family-owned or independently run.
We are proudly local and our businesses are firmly focussed on welcoming everyone to our friendly town.
Shops open ALL DAY on Light Up Day, Saturday 29th November from 9am to 8:30pm!
Shops will also be open for Special Sunday trading in December.
CHRISTMAS NOSTALGIA
A colourful, historic display of all things Christmas from goose feather and novel trees to unique decorations and toys. Re-live traditions and special Christmas customs over many decades through this treasured private collection.
