November 26th to December 31st
Loxton shines during this joyous festival with thousands of twinkling fairy lights, bright colourful banners, sparkling garlands and tinsel to create a magic spectacle. An enormous Christmas tree dazzles in the heart of town and from there, large clusters of residential streets feature homes adorned with over 350 illuminated Christmas scenes, paintings and coloured light displays.

Hilbig Street in Santa’s Walk is one of the original streets that started Christmas displays back in the 1970s. Best viewing times are between 8.30pm to 11pm.
Christmas Tree Festival
26th November to 18th December
2016 Theme 'Something old...Something new...A special tree made by you’. Local community groups and individuals design and decorate unique and innovative Christmas trees. 26th November to 31st December
The star of the Christmas Lights Festival. This is the 32nd year that this private display has been staged at Loxton East. An enchanting coloured light spectacular with amazing illuminated scenes stretching over 250 metres. See the 'Christmas Wonderland' page for more details.
November 26th and throughout December
Santa will be in his magical Cave, in the centre of
town, for a very special visit with each child. Everyone receives a free gift
from Santa and photo opportunities are available. A gold coin
Light Up Day the cave will be open from 10am to 1pm and again at 5pm to 8pm.

Reindeer Road...The popular 'Reindeer Road' is back again in 2016! Collect a bag at Santa's Cave on Light Up Day, and set off to collect lots of great giveaways from our local businesses including: balloons, stickers. lollies, drink, crayones, activity sheet and lots more!.

Singing Christmas Tree
3rd, 10th and 17th December
Each of the 4 tiers on the 6 metre high Christmas tree is filled with enthusiastic singers who bring the tree to life with their rendition of much-loved traditional carols. Come and be entertained outside St Peterís Lutheran Church from 8pm to 8.30pm.
Free of charge but donations are welcome.
Martha's on Martha
Free refreshments and snacks along with a display of Nativity Scenes. Uniting Church Hall from 7.30pm.

Christmas Craft Fair
Sunday 27th November
This fair offers a wide variety of handcrafted items and cookery for sale. Held in the, RSL Hall, Tobruk Tce from 10am - 3pm. Free of charge.
Hosted by the Combined Christian Churches of Loxton, held at the Rotunda, East Tce, Loxton from 7.30pm (prelude from 7pm). If inclement weather, Carols will move to the Loxton Peace Hall, St Peter’s Lutheran Church. Bring a chair. Ph 08 8584 5338.

'The Pines' Loxton's Historic House and Garden
Open Sundays at 2pm
Built in 1909 this historic sandstone villa was bequeathed to the people of Loxton for display and entertainment purposes by Mrs. Ella Kingdon. The contents of the house have remained virtually untouched and represent a snapshot of the lifestyle of one of Loxton's pioneering families. 'The Pines' is an exceptional venue for formal or informal dining, weddings, community and family celebrations. "The Pines' is open for guided tours every Sunday at 2pm other times by appointment.
