Loxton shines during this joyous festival with thousands of twinkling fairy lights, bright colourful banners, sparkling garlands and tinsel to create a magic spectacle. An enormous Christmas tree dazzles in the heart of town and from there, large clusters of residential streets feature homes adorned with over 350 illuminated Christmas scenes, paintings and coloured light displays.

25th November to December 31st
Watch the magic of Christmas light up our homes and streets, as locals put the spirit of the season on show. Families can experience the captivating Christmas lights along Hilbig Street, where it all began, and it's surrounds. Best viewing times are between 8.30pm to 11pm.
Christmas Tree Festival
24th November to 16th December
Nothing says Christmas like the sight of a beautifully decorated tree. This year's theme is 'A Seaside Christmas' which will showcase trees decorated by local community groups and schools. Just a gold coin entry. Held in Loxton CWA Hall, Kokoda Tce, Loxton. Open 11am - 6pm. Groups by prior arrangement. Contact Visitor Information Centre 08 8584 8071.

With illuminated displays and festive lights stretching over 250 metres, Christmas Wonderland is exactly as wondrous as it sounds. The star of the Christmas Lights Festival, this privately-owned display draws visitors from all over the world. Experience the magic and create lifelong memories with your family during the festive season, Christmas Wonderland is a 'must see' while in Loxton. Light Up Day - Santa will be at Riverland Motor Group, 1 East Terrace from 9am - 1pm and 4pm - 8pm. Free gift for every child. Professional photos available. A gold coin donation welcome.

invited to visit Santa throughout the festive season in the Loxton
Newsagency, located in the centre of town. Of course every child receives a
free gift from Santa!.

Reindeer Road...Fun for the kids on Light Up Day, the popular 'Reindeer Road'. Collect a bag from the Kids Zone and follow the map to fill it with gifts from local businesses.

Bike the Night
Sunday, 23rd December
A great way to see the lights is by cycling the sights. Bring the family to Heritage Park to decorate your bikes or scooters (and yourself) with free glow sticks before riding off to explore the streets in and around Santa's Walk. Then return to enjoy refreshments from Little Miss Daisy Pop Up Caravan including smoothies, milkshakes, ice-cream, coffee, cakes and donuts. Weather permitting. From 8pm - 9.30pm.
The Kings Table
In days of old, Kings feasted on meats cooked over fire, in the company of their Queen, Knights and loyal subjects. We invite you to relish in our unique adaption of this dining experience as we deliver swords of char-grilled meat and vegetables to your table at the Loxton Historical Village newest attraction.

Sunday 25th November
Find real Christmas treasure at the Craft Fair, with a variety of local, handcrafted and baked goods on offer. Unique Christmas gifts are a specialty at the Fair. Held in the, RSL Hall, Tobruk Tce from 10am - 3pm. Free of charge.
Sunday, 16th December
Get the family together for Loxton's very own Carols by Candlelight! The combined churches of Loxton invite you to gather and sing along to your favourite carols on the rotunda lawn in East Terrace. From 7.45pm (prelude from 7.15pm). If inclement weather, Carols will move to the Loxton Peace Hall, St Peter’s Lutheran Church. Bring a chair. Ph 08 8584 5338.

'The Pines' Loxton's Historic House and Garden
Open Sundays at 2pm
Built in 1909 this historic sandstone villa was bequeathed to the people of Loxton for display and entertainment purposes by Mrs. Ella Kingdon. The contents of the house have remained virtually untouched and represent a snapshot of the lifestyle of one of Loxton's pioneering families.
